John Lee Roy Linde: And Then There Were Two
For the second straight week, the Ravens looked like playoff contenders. The defense pitched a shut out, and resembled the glory days of old. Of course, six turnovers help, and Cutler played Santa Clause tossing presents left and right.
There are some who wonder if the weather played a role, but I say no. After all, Chicago is north of here, and they get blasted like this every year. In any case, the Bears looked pretty bad. The only points they got was on a punt-return for a touchdown.
Flacco and the rest of the offense played very well. They will need to keep their momentum going if they want to still be playing in late January.
On the subject of injuries, I’m not as worried as other fans are. Ozzy is pretty good with making sure that we have depth at key positions. The thing about being a “benchwarmer” during the season, is that when your chance comes, you’re more likely to grab on with both hands. It also gives the advantage of not having much footage of you and your play style for other teams to prepare for.

Ravens Sign Reject CB Corey Ivy
When you already have 1 reject CB on your team named Frank Walker, what do you do? For the Ravens it was to sign his twin brother from another mother Corey Ivy! Ivy has been cut, not once, but twice this year. The Brownies let him go(Thats how bad he is) then the Steelers let him go(Yeah he sold out and signed with them rejects). Now when the Ravens had better options at CB(McAlister, O’Neal, Surtain, all 3 former Pro-Bowl CB’s) they opt to sign Ivy! I think Ozzie Newsome needs to have his Brain Examined!
Interview With Steeler Hater: Toni Margotta-Lazzaro

(Toni Margotta-Lazzaro right side)
As I was scrolling through facebook, I found a womans page saying she was a member of a club called B.A.S.H. Baltimore Association of Steeler Haters! I thought perfect! We here at Ravens Red Zone need to interview a member of this B.A.S.H. Club. Without further due, here is our interview with B.A.S.H. member Toni Margotta-Lazzaro!
Ravens Red Zone: You are a proud member of B.A.S.H. Baltimore Association of Steeler Haters, can you tell us about this Group?
Toni Margotta-Lazzaro: This group originated on myspace with one guys profile. There are now about 750 members and it’s growing everyday. It’s just a forum we use to vent about the Steelers and out hatred for that Franchise.
Ravens Red Zone: Why do you think Baltimore as well as most NFL cities hate the Steelers so much?
Toni Margotta-Lazzaro: I think most cities hate the Steelers because they are overrated and they play dirty. Taking your time getting to the line of scrimmage so you can run the clock down to me is a cowards way of playing. If your that good of a team, then your not afraid to give your opponent another chance to score. Their players are very unsportsmen like as well. I think that entire team lacks class.
Ravens Red Zone: If somebody handed your B.A.S.H. Group a Yellow Chicken Towel(Steeler Terrible Towel) what would your group do with it?
Toni Margotta-Lazzaro: Funny you should ask that question. I have been looking for a “terrible towel” for several months now. I wanted to video tape the destruction of the towel and put it on Youtube for all Steeler haters to enjoy.
Ravens Red Zone: How do you and YOUR group feel about Steeler bandwagon fans who live in Baltimore…yet root for the Squeelers?
Toni Margotta-Lazzaro: I think it’s hypocrisy at it’s worst. I’m not saying every citizen of Maryland should be a Ravens fan but rooting for our NFL rivals at our stadium takes nerve. I went to the Steelers game at M&T Bank stadium a few weeks ago and I was apalled by the amount of Steeler fans there. The only colors you could see up and down Ravens walk were yellow and black. I wish the season ticket and PSL holders would stop selling their tickets to Steeler fans.
Ravens Red Zone: Any predictions for the Upcoming Ravens vs Steelers game?
Toni Margotta-Lazzaro: Well, I am a realist. I know the Ravens record against the Steelers at their stadium isn’t good and I also know the 12th man is present whenever you travel there. I believe the breakdown of this team that has occured mid-season will also factor in. The Ravens are fighting for their play-off berth and I believe the Steelers are in for the game of their lives.
Ravens Red Zone: Is there anything you would like to add? Any Anti-Squeeler message?
Toni Margotta-Lazzaro: Yes, in my home, the word Roethlisberger is a swear word. We use it against each other. We do not buy or eat Heinz ketchup because of their sponsership of the Steelers. When my 9 year old daughter was asked at a recent sleep over if she wanted ketchup she looked at the bottle and said “No thank you, we don’t eat Steeler Ketchup, do you have any Huntz?” Even at 9, she still won’t use the colors yellow and black together while coloring. Go Ravens…..Steelers Suck!!!!
We would like to thank Toni Margotta-Lazzaro for taking time out to do this interview! Go Ravens!

Jay Cutler….is a JOKE!! I had to add to add that!
Our Sympathy Goes Out to The Chris Henry Family
We here at Ravens Red Zone…would like to send our prayers out to the Chris Henry Family at this unfortunate time. Chris Henry would play his last down in the NFL against the Ravens, when he would break his wrist in a rare fall. He was a tough WR who always gave the Ravens a fit. He will be greatly missed by all NFL fans who have watched him play over the years!
John Lee Roy Linde: Ray and Silent Joe Strike Back!
It weirded me out to keep hearing the name “Kevin Smith” without a Jay and Silent Bob reference. I kept expecting to see him pull a Batman device out, hook the lights and swing for the end zone, while Jason Mewes voice screams out “Fly fatass fly!”
To everyone who is acting like the Ravens are going to go 16 and 0 because we blew them out yesterday, knock it off! It was the frickin’ Lions, for crying out loud. Yes, the Ravens p****** hopes are still alive, but against the Lions, it was elementary. Had they lost, they should have all retired in shame.
Several team records were set, which is awesome. I for one, would like to know who was counting the attending fans. 70,673 was the announced attendance. From the looks of it, at least half of them were either in the bathroom, or out on the concourse smoking a cigarette whenever the camera panned the crowd.
But, in the NFL, a win is a win is a win. We’ll take it. Good, bad, or ugly.

Tim Lumber: Ravens Beat Down Lions 48-3
Today…I am NOT going to brag! Today I wont talk smack about how bad the Ravens…Beat Down the Detroit Lions! I feel sorry for Lion fans, they have had alot of tough times! Zero win season…that retard GM who is now a TV commentator….ya know who I mean bucktooth? Plain and simple….Peace to all the Detroit Lions fans! Hang in there…times will get better!! I dedicate this bottle of whiskey I am about to open and drink…to YOU Detroit Lions fans!
You are the REAL NFL fans! You all could have went bandwagon jumping 5 years ago…but you stick with YOUR hometeam! So buy yourself a beer or a bottle of 100 proof Old Crow whiskey….and be proud….you are a LOYAL FAN!
Peace Lions Fans!!
John Lee Roy Linde: Somebody’s Getting Mugged
Every year, Detroit and Baltimore go back and forth. Number one and number two. This Sunday, the competition moves from the mean streets of each city, to the football field. The Lions have been tamed for the past two years. So much so, in fact, that they’ve only won two games in that time frame.
I’m really hoping that Flacco doesn’t show up wearing a “Sloppy Joe” label this time. If they lose this game, they should have to wear Brown uniforms for the rest of the season. They can call it “classic” or “Retro” if it makes them feel better.
Derrick Mason may be getting fined for his comments about the officiating…. Or lack thereof. It’s pretty bad when he’s getting held like a poker hand and the officials are looking everywhere but where the play is. I don’t think a man should be fined for taking issue with some injustice he is subjected to, this IS the USA after all.
I would like to thank the Browns for knocking off the Pitiful Pitty team. That was an enjoyable game to watch. Here’s to a hopefully just as enjoyable Ravens victory this weekend. *Prost!*
