Tim Lumber:Ravens Get Paybacks, and Stomp Steelers!
Baltimore is jumping tonight! After having to wait almost a whole year for paybacks for our AFC Championship loss to the Steelers, we can finally say “We Got Our Paybacks!!”. Tha Fat lady has sung, her tune, that us Baltimorians have been waiting to hear since our controversal(bad ref called game) last January! We feel as if the Steelers stole OUR Super Bowl Championship last season, and tonight, we defeated the Steelers, and everyone in Pitsburgh is quiet for once lol!
Steeler fans have gotten quiet on the message boards, they have become temporarily distinct almost like dinasaurs!
Little Ben afraid to play in this Sunday Night’s Game could only watch in horror as Billy Cundiff(he is better than Haushka) hit the game winner in O.T.! You can cry all you want SteelNation, dont ask Baltimore for any Kleenex! Hahaha, Victory and Revenge is so SWEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEET!
Tim Lumber:Little Ben Wont Play This Sunday Night VS Ravens!
Little Ben Roethlisberger as we like to call him in Baltimore, will make the most intelligent move of his NFL career! Despite the Steelers begging him to play, Little Ben realizing he may have a concussion, and the Ravens wanting revenge from the AFC Championship Game last season, has opted NOT to play. Here is a link from the Baltimore Sun confirming that he backed down like a chicken(A smart chicken to that degree lol). http://www.baltimoresun.com/sports/ravens/bal-ben-roethlisberger-out-1128,0,7974991.story
With backup Steeler QB Charlie Batch already out, it will leave us against a No-Name 3rd stringer, to beat on! This makes the Ravens immediate favorites this Sunday night. In other word Baltimore, we get some payback tonight! Dont be surprised if the 3rd stringer gets taken out on a stretcher(as rude as that sounds). But this game means Blood for Baltimore. We believe the Steelers took our Super Bowl title last season. Steeler fans have bashed me this past year, after I claimed the reason we lost was because our DB’s(both starters were hurt).
Steeler fans told me you have to adapt, and the Ravens cant adapt. WELL, can your sorry Steelers adapt with a 3rd stringer against our violent defense? NO, YOU CAN NOT! I feel so alive! Finally I get paybacks after one year of terrorizing Steeler fans and being banned from Steeler message boards! This Sunday night, I get redemption! Go Ravens!
John Lee Roy Linde: Squeeling From the Feeling

Well, someone will be, Sunday night. Who it will be, remains to be seen. The
defending Super-Bowl champion Squeelers aren’t living up to their hype either. I
don’t expect to see the same kind of officiating we saw last week.
I suspect Hines Ward won’t be grinning like a loon after this one, unless he’s
paying off the refs. Benny should be warming the bench, for his own good.
Concussions are like sprains, they get successively easier to repeat. Of course,
he’s not the smartest guy in the world. Plus, he has another major disadvantage,
with a face like that, you want to hit him harder.
At this point in the season, with their current record, if the Ravens fail to
secure a victory this week, the only time we’ll be using the words “playoffs”
and “Ravens” in the same sentence will be with the idea of “coulda/shoulda/woulda”
or “wasted potential.”
Our boys in purple need to act like a billiards player with a fortune on the
line. The only option is to run the table. Nah…that’s too sterile a description.
They need to act like bullies, again. To regain the dominance they were once
feared for. All within the rules, of course.
They’ve backed themselves into a corner, time to come out swinging. If they
don’t, they might as well tank the rest of the season, and go for a better draft
pick.

Happy Thanksgiving Ravens Fans!
From us here at Ravens Red Zone to YOU the greatest readers in the World….We Want to Wish YOU, your family and friends Happy Thanksgiving!
John Lee Roy Linde: Close, But No Cigar
I would like to respectfully request that these officials are assigned to Ravens games for the rest of the season. This is the best officiating I’ve seen all season.
Welcome to Baltimore, Mr. Condiff. 5 for 6 is pretty good. It would have been nice had you made the one you missed, but it’s ok. You still did better than the guy you replaced.
I’m curious who is going to take the heat for Ed Reed catching that last kickoff. I know he was just trying to make some magic happen, but there were just too many opposing players for that to work.
I know a lot of fans are blaming Condiff, but it’s pretty clear that he did his best. Even Stover has his limits. Other fans are blaming Flacco for the interception. Others blame Reed’s fumble. It was all that, and more.
Me? I’m blaming Harbaugh for this. At several key points, the play calling was bordering on obscene. The delayed handoff at the goal line boggles the mind. If you do something like that, the runner shouldn’t barrel into the pile. You cut outside, or at worst, leap over. I’d love to see this again, to see if any of the receivers had gotten open.
I love Ngata as a player, but he had bad timing on that flagrant penalty. That is the kind of stuff that really needs to stop. He’s not the only one, but at least the penalties were sparse in this game. For a while, I had thought that somehow the team had gotten the message about this game. I have had to rethink that, all things considered.
As for Matt Stover, it doesn’t bother me as much as it does other people, that he did kick the game winning field goal. After all, most of us knew it was going to happen. Murphy’s Law is alive and well in Baltimore. Besides, it wasn’t Stover’s fault he wasn’t retained by the Ravens. What I did find a little “wrong”, was him bringing his family onto the field after the game to play catch with his kid. It’s not that I am against him playing with his kid… but you don’t do that in “enemy territory”. I had thought better of him.
Overall, the Ravens played fairly well. The exception to that, is down in the red-zone. Sadly, that’s where it’s most important. Now, the Ravens have the unenviable task of needing to run the table. If they do, they may be able to celebrate a Festivus. If not, well, there’s always next season.

Tim Lumber: To The Heck With The Steelers Part 2
We just lost to the freakin Colts, so screw you Steelers! Im drunk, and Im back, and I have a damn bad attitude! Im sitting here guzzling down my 80 proof Old Crow, and I am mad, just like I was after the AFC Championship Game! Raaaaaaa! You idiots lost to the Chiefs for crying out loud. Little Ben looks like he has been eating Ice Cream and drinking too many Milk Shakes, maybe you should milk that fat cow next time your team wants some milk!
We lost to the Colts(our citys former team) and you beat us last season, and cost us a damn trip to the Super Bowl! Screw you Steelers, go wave your chicken towels in Baltimore next weekend. Maybe our fans will snatch them chicken towels and burn them! Thats right there is going to be Bon-Fire celebration this Sunday, and its going to be a all night long party! I wish I could throw this whiskey in Little Bens eyes, feel the burn fatso! Ever hear of sittups? Go do some, you fat out of shape pig!
And screw the Steeler Internet Message Board sites! I been banned for life from Steelers Addicts and Steelers Fever, like I give a crap! I told them all off, so they banned me…wawa! Screw the Pittsburgh newspaper writers, you can write bad stuff about Baltimore, Me, the Ravens, but we are whipping your teams BEEP this Sunday night! Its payback time punks! If the Chiefs beat you rejects, imagine how bad the Ravens are going to whip you! Baltimore has a score to settle for last season, and the score starts this Sunday Night!
Somebody on the Steelers is getting taken out on a stretcher, thats my damn prediction! Shutout, Ben”Fat Boy” Roethlisberger is too out of shape to beat the Ravens. He got hurt in the Chiefs game..haha. Imagine how bad he gets hurt this Sunday Night? Last time you beat us our DB’s were hurt, they still stink, but they will shut you down. Your toast this Sunday night! Yeah this time I back up my smack talk Pittsburgh! What are you Steeler fans going to say after the Ravens beat you Sunday night? Not a damn thing, you all get quiet when you get beat! KC whipped you all, thats got to be embarrasing!
John Lee Roy Linde:“The new -vs.- the old, in more ways than one.”
Haushka is out, Cundiff is in. Jury is out on the change, but as long as Cundiff isn’t Choke-A-Holic v2.0, we might be in better shape. Still… Stover has huge cleats to fill. And he’s coming back Sunday.
Many people in this town are wearing brown pants, because they are crapping their draws. Yes, that’s Baltimorese for underwear. That’s right, a sports writer that is not only fluent in Bawlamoreze, but is willing to admit it. Hey, either “b’leve hon” or GTFO and STFU.
Now, another story in the news recently, is the horses of the local Arabers were taken somewhere so they would be treated better. What a great tie-in. After this Sunday, there are going to be some young horses, aka “colts”, looking for some Arabers wagons to pull, since they will be treated better than they will by some black birds with attitude problems.
Yes, the Colts are undefeated…. But no team runs the table without some help. Granted, the zebras have been helping the Ravens opponents this season, but even the striped ones know better than to be overly biased in this game.
This is a *MUST* win game for the Ravens. Not because of the possible playoff implications, not because the Colts are undefeated, not because they are in the same conference we are… The Ravens could go 1-15.…so long as the ONE team they defeat is the Colts. Not even the Steelers evoke such feelings from this town. Someone(Yes, I volunteer) needs to explain to the team, coaches, etc… just what THIS game means to this city. In a way that they will fully understand, relate to, and respond to.
The first time the Colts came back to Baltimore, since their midnight flight from a city that adored them, under the guise of a lie that they would remain here…. I was in attendance. The Colts led the game at half time. The Ravens did not play as well as they should have. With each successive screw up, the crowd turned. Louder and louder did the “Boo’s” come. The fans who had embraced the relatively new Ravens began to turn. The message was clear: Defeat was not an option. We accepted you, built you a beautiful new stadium to play in, but there was a price: There is ONE team you are not allowed to lose to here… the team that had ripped our hearts out. The team that had lied to us, and made this city bleed. In the stadium WE built, WE paid for, WE demand that you defend with your last breath against this ONE team. The one that hurt us so badly; The Colts. We will forgive you for any transgression, save this one. We won that game. But that was then, this is now.
Pay attention, Ravens. If there is one game that this city depends on you winning, it’s this one. THIS is our Superbowl. We will accept it if you lose in Indianapolis, but you can’t lose to them here. Yes, it’s happened before, but you must fight harder, and do whatever it takes, to make sure they don’t win.
Special note to Cundiff, if you make the kick that wins this game, you will have a special level of forgiveness from Ravens fans. Remember, your job is to kick the ball through the uprights. Nothing else. That’s all you have to do. Make us proud. That’s all of you!

Ravens Sign Kicker Billy Cundiff

The Following video is Billy Cundiff kicking field goals. He looks like he can kick straight which is a big step after being tortured with Steve Hauhska! I made a mistake yesterday and said we signed Mike Nugent, that was a error. I like Nugent a tad better, he has more upside and more power with his foot. But Cundiff is more accurate. I do believe he is going to be a good kicker! Welcome to Baltimore Billy Cundiff! Now do us a favor, and make some field goals!
To The Heck With Pittsburgh Part 2: Coming Next Week
It is the most read sports story in Baltimore history, and come next week, there shall be a sequal! Just in time for the Ravens vs Steelers in 2 weeks, I will write the 2nd chapter to my most famous story ever written! I promise I will be hammered(drunk) when I write it as well. I will be purchasing a bottle of 80 proof Old Crow whiskey next weekend.
After I become so drunk that I see double vision, I will write the greatest sequal ever written! I wrote the last story as I was angry the Steelers beat our Ravens in the AFC Championship Game last season. Now I want paybacks! Steeler fans……I’m Baaaaaaccccccckkkkkkkk! And I will be drunker than ever! I cannot wait to write this story…..no more Mr. Nice Guy.
Ravens Release Steve Haushka: Haa-Laa-Loo-Yaa
The Steve Haushka experiment is over! Haa-Laa-Loo-Yaa! After missing a critical field goal in the 1st quarter, then having his extra point blocked, the Baltimore Ravens told Steve Haushka to get the H*ll out of Baltimore! I am happy! Hit the road Haushka and dont come back! Finally the Ravens use there brains and fire this reject kicker.
The Ravens have signed former 2nd round draft pick, and Jets kicker Mike Nugent. I know Matt Stover has to be mad. He wanted to stay in Baltimore, but since the Ravens didnt re-sign him, he signed with Indy for a 6 week contract. I like Nugent. This guy was a 2nd round pick, which is high for a kicker. He has lots of potential and in my eye could be the Baltimore Ravens kicker of the future!
